Lake Havasu City Sportsman Club, Inc., here after referred to as the Club, was established and Incorporated as a non-profit Organization in 1971.

The Club operates under a long term Use Agreement with Lake Havasu City.

The purpose of the Club is to foster the advancement and well being of the shooting sports with the goal of improving understanding and knowledge of the shooting skills, safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship.

The Club is governed by an elected Board of Directors. Club and Board meetings are held on the First Tuesday of the month. The Club is supported by the Club membership and does not receive any funds from the State, County or City.

The Police range located on Club property is part of our range. The use of the Police range is governed by an agreement with the Club. The Club does not charge the City for use of the Police range.

The major improvements at the pistol and rifle ranges were completed using Club funds and contributions from local businesses. We also had large and small contributions from members. Thanks to the local "Friends of the NRA" a large part of the grading was paid for from grants received from the NRA Foundation. The Club has no outstanding debt. Range improvements will be made as funds become available.

We have just about every shooting match available, including ATA, USPSA, SASS, CMP and sanctioned matches. If a member wants to start a new shooting match, they can present it to the Board for approval. We also have two (2) archery ranges.

You are welcome to come out to the Range and shoot on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday during seasonal hours. There is a $10.00 per day shooting fee for non- members to use the rifle, pistol or archery ranges. You must READ and OBEY the posted Range Safety Rules and follow the directions of the Range Security Officer. Shooters should bring their own targets. Shooting bays are not always available due to scheduled shooting matches. Additional information may be obtained at the clubhouse located at the shotgun range or by contacting one of the Security Officers.
